Zinc@ alloy powder for alkali batteries - is free from mercury and contains lead, bismuth, indium and aluminium

Mercury-free zinc alloy powder contains (in wt.%): 0.0001-0.1 Pb; 0.01-0.1 Bi; 0.01-0.1 In; 0.01-0.1 Al; balance Zn plus usual impurities. The bismuth content is pref. 0.05-0.1 and the indium content 0.05-0.1. USE/ADVANTAGE - In alkali batteries. Battery is free from mercury which is poisonous and only gives off low amts. of gases (hydrogen) in the presence of iron up to 30 ppm in the zinc powder.
