The engine consists of a housing and a ring-shaped runner with three or more pistons (4). The pistons rotate about a central point (MG) lying outside the runner axis. The pistons operate within a sickle-shaped chamber to receive a drive impulse via continuous fuel combustion and to expel the combustion products.
