摘要 PURPOSE:To make it possible to simply control a throttle valve with a high degree of accuracy, by detecting the position of the throttle valve in accordance with the output of a counter for counting the number of output pulses when the throttle valve is controlled to be opened and closed in accordance with the output of an accelerator sensor associated with an accelerator. CONSTITUTION:A throttle valve 1 in an internal-combustion engine is controlled to be opened and closed by the output power of a step motor 2 through a torque transmitting device 3. The throttle valve 1 is urged by a spring 4 toward its full close position. Further, there is provided an accelerator sensor 6 for generating output signals in accordance with the depressing amount of an accelerator pedal 5, and these output signals are delivered to an electric control circuit 7 for controlling the step motor 2. The electric control circuit 7 drives the step motor 2 in accordance with the output signal of the accelerator sensor 6, and a pulse counter incorporated in the circuit 7 counts the number of output pulses of the step motor 2 to detect the position of the throttle valve 1 which is feedback-controlled in accordance with the depressing amount of an accelerator pedal 5.
