Construction method of a transversely tensioned bridge platform, comprising adjacent timber elements (1) held together by tension bars (2) extending transverse to the elements, comprises: (i) placing two or more elements having opposite facing sides into another; (ii) coating the sides with a substance (pref. comprising acrylate dispersion) which forms a dry surface from which dirt and dust can easily be removed; (iii) pressing the elements together using the tension bars; and (iv) fusing the surface-forming substance layers together form a shear force transfer layer. |
