The ball game racquet, esp. for tennis, has a hollow frame (3) closed on the outside and forming a handle and frame part (3') with head. The head is strung (4) with intersecting strings (4',4'') going through holes (11) in the frame. Sleeves (9) are sealed in the holes and have holes (12) through which the strings pass from the inside to the outside and vice versa.The strings can move at least in one axial direction at right angles to the string's plane (BE) on the inside of the frame by an amount greater than the movement on the outside of the frame.
