PURPOSE:To improve color reproducibility by incorporating one kind of specific coupler to a green and a red sensitive emulsion layers respectively, and by specifying the wavelength corresponding to the wavelength which displays the max. sensitivity in a spectral sensitivity of the red sensitive emulsion layer and the wavelength corresponding to 30% sensitivity of the max. sensitivity. CONSTITUTION:The green sensitive emulsion layer contains one kind of the coupler shown by formula I, and the red sensitive emulsion layer contains one kind of the coupler shown by formula II. The wavelength of the max. sensitivity in the spectral sensitivity of the red sensitive emulsion layer is a range of 600-650nm. The wavelength corresponding to 30% max. sensitivity in the spectral sensitivity is a range of 550-680nm. In the formula, Za and Zb are each =N- bond, R1 and R2 are each hydrogen atom or a substitutent, X is hydrogen atom or a group capable of releasing by coupling reaction with an oxidant of an aromatic primary amine developing agent, R3 is an aliphatic hydrocarbon group or an aryl group, etc., R4 is hydrogen atom, etc., R5 is an aliphatic hydrocarbon group, etc., R6 and R7 are each hydrogen atom or a lower alkyl group. Thus, the color reproducibility of the titled material and the preservability of the dye image are improved. |
