This invention relates to artificial snow comprising water-absorbent resin, inorganic powder, surfactant, and ice, as well as a production method thereof comprising 1/ &cir& a process for mixing water-absorbent resin, inoganic powder, surfactant, and water, and 2/ &cir& a process for freezing the mixture obtained in process 1/ &cir& . The artificial snow obtained by the present invention provides good quality snow suitable for skiing, and the production method requires no complicated manufacturing process. |
