An electrical connector (2) for substrate card (14) is designed to fix on a device (4) for receiving the intelligent card and which includes a tray for the card, and which is displaceable in a longitudinal direction. The connector is provided with a number of springy contacts (34) to provide an improved electrical connector for forming an electrical connection with the conduction paths on a substrate card, to as much as possible provide frictionless contact making. The connector is provided with a control surface slave or follower element (46) arranged operatively against the contacts (34) and provided with a control surface follower projection (56) locatable against a control surface (24) of the tray (10) taking the card. |
