TERT-BUTYLAMINE SYNTHESIS OVER DEALUMINATED Y-TYPE ZEOLITES (D# 81,199-F) Disclosed is a method for preparation of alkylamines, particularly t-butylamine, which comprises reacting ammonia and a monounsaturated or polyunsaturated olefin having 2 to 10 carbon atoms in the presence of a dealuminate Y-zeolite, prepared in a manner selected from: 1. Ammonium exchanging followed by calcinating; 2. Chelating the alumina with ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid; 3. Treating the Y-zeolite with a fluorine-containing compound. 4. Treating the Y-zeolite with steam or acid or a combination of steam and acid.
