<p>PURPOSE:To recover aluminum from laminated foil at a high recovery rate and a low fuel cost by mixing the laminated foil into aluminum dross melted by heating and compressing the melt mixture. CONSTITUTION:The aluminum dross formed by the operation to melt aluminum is charged into a rotary type melting furnace, where the aluminum dross is heated and melted by a heavy oil burner; thereafter, the molten aluminum dross is compressed by a compressing device and the aluminum is taken out. The laminated foil is mixed in an agglomerate state into the aluminum dross and the mixture is melted, then the melt mixture is compressed at this time. The mixing ratio of the laminated foil is preferably 5 to 50wt.%, more particularly preferably about 10 to 30wt.% of the total weight of the aluminum dross and the foil. The recovery of the aluminum is accelerated by the combustion of the laminated combustibles of the laminated foil; in addition, the combustion rate of the heavy oil is lowered and further the oxidation is prevented even in <=20mum aluminum foil. The aluminum is thus efficiently recovered.</p> |
