DESULFURIZING AGENT FOR FLUE GAS DESULFURIZATION AND PREPARATION THEREOF

PURPOSE:To prepare a disposable and inexpensive desulfurizing agent in a flue gas desulfurization method by which SOx in waste gas is removed in a dry way. CONSTITUTION:A desulfurizing agent for flue gas desulfurization consisting of an iron ore of >=5% waste content or iron ore of >=10m<2>/g specific surface area is used for dry flue gas desulfurization. The desulfurizing agent for flue gas desulfurization consisting of an iron ore of >=10m<2>/gr specific surface area is prepared by heating an iron ore of >=2% water content at temperatures of >=250 deg.C. Consequently the regeneration process of a dry desulfurization apparatus is eliminated, thereby installation cost is reduced and operation is simplified.
