<p>PURPOSE: To prevent undesirable eccentric movement of magnets of a dentition correcting device, to control the repulsion magnetic force in the horizontal direction to the maximum, and to keep substantially regular centrifugal movement of teeth anytime without readjustment. CONSTITUTION: A pair of small magnetic elements 12 and 14, which complement each other, are mounted on this dentition correcting device with which teeth are moved centrifugally in the oral cavity without requiring the patient's cooperation. The magnetic elements 12 and 14 have holes on the same axis to support the magnets installed so that they repel each other slidably on an ordinary assembly wire 15, and are coated with protective coating to prevent corrosion and metal leakage. In addition, another means is installed to energize the magnetic elements 12, 14 to be brought closer to each other along the assembly wire 15 as a molar moves centrifugally.</p> |
