PURPOSE:To provide a means which, when a simple vessel for food is used with a covering of wrapping film, prevents the wrapping film from being torn and eliminates the inconvenience in removing the wrapping film. CONSTITUTION:A lid 2 of a simple vessel for food, fitted on the main body of the vessel 1, has a holding part 5 at least at one position which projects outward from a drooping side 22 of the lid and which forms an inclined surface 5b from the edge 5a toward the side 22. When this vessel is entirely wrapped in a wrapping film, the wrapping film extends along the inclined surface 5b and gathers at the edge 5a of the holding part 5 so that no strong pull, hence no tearing, locally occurs in the film. When the vessel is entirely wrapped in a wrapping film, a gap forms between the edge 5a of the holding part 5 of the lid 2 and the framing material 3 of the main body of the vessel 1 or between the edge 5 of the holding part 5 and the drooping 22 of the lid 2 so that by pushing into such a gap the tip of a fingernail, toothpick, penpoint, or the like the film can be easily torn and removed. |
