PURPOSE:To eliminate the influence by wave front distortion and to obtain a reconstitution image having high accuracy by arranging a means for generating a phase conjugate wave to an ultrasonic wave having an arbitrary wave front waveform transmitted through an object to be measured from an ultrasonic transferring means so as to be opposed to the ultrasonic transferring means through the object. CONSTITUTION:When an ultrasonic wave is radiated to the measuring object tomographic surface of an examinee 1 from an ultrasonic transferring unit 2, this ultrasonic wave passes through the measuring object tomographic surface and is made incident on a phase conjugate wave generating device 3. Subsequently, the phase conjugate wave generating device 3 generates the phase conjugate wave of an incident ultrasonic wave. This phase conjugate wave follows the same route as the incident ultrasonic wave, is received by the ultrasonic transferring unit 2, detected as an ultrasonic receiving signal having the information of the measuring object tomographic surface of the examinee 1 and becomes measuring data. In such a state, when the phase conjugate wave transmits through the examinee 1, since the phase conjugate wave has time parity to an incident wave, the distortion of wave front is corrected automatically and the incident wave becomes a wave front before transmitting through the examinee 1. |
