<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a cooling agent which utilizes the heat absorption on mixing at least two chemicals, provides a cooling temp. lower than, a duration of cooling longer than, and coldness better than the conventional cooling agents, and has a good storage stability even at ambient temp. as high as e.g. 40 deg.C. CONSTITUTION:Heat absorption is caused by mixing an inorg. ammonium salt (e.g. ammonium nitrate, ammonium bromide, or ammonium chloride) with a hydrated salt having water of crystallization (e.g. strontium hydroxide octahydrate or a mixture thereof with sodium metasilicate nonahydrate). If necessary, a highly water-absorptive material, a thickener, etc., are added.</p> |
