TIMING ADJUSTING DEVICE FOR TIMING GEAR

PURPOSE: To effect timing regulation for a timing gear of an internal combustion engine with a particularly simple structure and a slight regulating moving force. CONSTITUTION: A gear 12 driven by a crankshaft of an internal combustion engine is provided. The gear 12 is arranged on a camshaft 10 for operating a first and second exchange valve. The camshaft 10 can be regulated relatively with respect to the gear 12 within a limited rotation angle range. The camshaft 10 can be twisted freely with respect to the gear 12 in two rotational directions at least over a predetermined torsion angle. A means for connecting the gear 12 and the camshaft 10 is provided.
