PURPOSE: To provide a catheter, which is beneficial to give retrograde administration of cardioplegia solution into coronary sinus, and is improved retentiveness and stability of the same in the coronary sinus. CONSTITUTION: A catheter 12 is equipped with a catheter including an injecting pipe, a pressure gauge pipe and an expanding pipe, and at the same time, is equipped with an expandable balloon 16 and a pressure gauge tube 24. The pressure gauge tube 24 is connected to the pressure gauge pipe to detect the pressure in the balloon 16. The volume of the pressure gauge tube 24 is constituted not to swell relatively to the volume of the balloon 16 when compared to. A throttle part is formed to the injection pipe to prevent the fluid, which flows through an injection pipe opening 34, to become an effusive stream.
