<p>PURPOSE:To detect the direction of entry contents, approximate size, feeding direction and the like by a method wherein detecting patterns, by which at least the direction of a mark sheet is indicated, are formed in three or more corners of the mark sheet having area, in which marks are written. CONSTITUTION:In a mark sheet 30, mark entry windows 31, in which check mark, solid mark or the like is written, for selective items 32 such as year number or the like and for recognition codes 33 corresponding to the selective items 32 are respectively printed. In this case, at positions in three or more corners or concretely in four corners of the mark sheet 30, detecting patterns 40, each of which indicates the direction of the mark sheet 30 such as the entry direction of the selective item 32, are printed. The detecting pattern 40 is made of the arrangement pattern of, for example, square dots. By the detecting pattern, the direction of entry contents in the mark sheet 30 is detected and, at the same time, the approximate size, feeding direction and the like of the mark sheet 30 are detected.</p> |
