MANUFACTURE OF INJECTION MOLDED CLOTH SHOES

PURPOSE:To provide a manufacture of injection molded cloth shoes having highly sustained water repelling and antifouling properties and excellent durability. CONSTITUTION:A bottom material which comprises 100 pts.wt. of an ethylene- vinyl chloride copolymer, 5-50 pts.wt. of a thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer and 80-120 pts.wt. of a plasticizer and has a melt viscosity in injection molding of 10<2>-10<4>g/cm.sec under a load of 10kg at 190 deg.C with a 1mm split die Koka type flow tester is injection molded, and bonded integral on an instep cover which comprises a laminate of cloths treated with a fluorine-based water repelling agent. The surface cloth for the instep cover treated with the fluorine-based water repelling agent employs those with a pore capacity rate of 50-90% as prescribed by JISL-1096 and subjected to no adhesive treatment. The thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer herein used is a hot melt type polyurethane elastomer with a molecular weight of 10<4>-10<5> having a polyester as skeleton.
