<p>PURPOSE:To manufacture a weldable laminate metal sheet of superior bonding properties, processability, resistance to corrosion and outer appearance by removing resin on an end of a metal sheet coated with thermoplastic resin by the spray of water jet in the method of flowing down thermoplastic resin, coating the metal sheet with thermoplastic resin and manufacturing a laminate metal sheet. CONSTITUTION:A pressure roller 5 is brought into contact with the surface of a metal sheet 1 wound on a welding roll 4 and preheated, and molten thermoplastic resin 3 is fed from a T-die 2 through an extruder onto an interface of the surface of the metal base and the pressure roller 5 to manufacture a laminate metal sheet composed of the metal sheet 1 coated with thermoplastic resin 3. The laminate metal sheet is cooled by a cooling device 6, dried and then wound up. Water jet 7 is sprayed to an end of the metal sheet cooled by the cooling device 6 and laminated to remove the resin on the end.
