摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To uniformize accelerating and decelerating properties successfully even when rolling stands different in speed responsiveness are mixed by providing a speed adjustor high in responsiveness and a speed adjustor low in responsiveness to use the respective speed adjustors separately in accordance with contents to be controlled. CONSTITUTION:Six rolling stands ST1-6 are provided along the stream direction of a rolling stock P. The rolling stands ST1-4 are provided with DC motors low in responsiveness. Each of the rolling stands ST5-6 is provided with an AC motor ACM and with both a speed controller 21 low in responsiveness and a speed controller 22 high in responsiveness. The rolling stands ST5-6 correspond by the speed controller 21 low in responsiveness to accelerating and decelerating commands and by the speed adjustor 22 high in responsiveness to a speed correcting command on the automatic plate thickness control. Consequently, regarding the plate control as well as the accelerating and decelerating control the speed control adjustable in followup ability can be carried out.</p>
