PURPOSE:To obtain a yellow green vegetable cookie containing much carotene by using a creamy green vegetable as the center and a cookie raw material containing a yellow vegetable as the outside and baking the resultant raw material. CONSTITUTION:An edible substance in a creamy state is initially mixed with powder of a green vegetable to prepare a creamy green vegetable and a yellow vegetable is then mixed in a cookie raw material. The creamy green vegetable is then used as the center and the cookie raw material containing the yellow vegetable is used as the outside. The resultant raw material is subsequently baked. That is, baking powder and soft white chocolate are used as the creamy edible substance and powdery spinach in an amount of 3wt.% based on the creamy edible substance is mixed therewith. A required amount of pumpkin powder is then mixed in the cookie raw material to prepare a cookie dough. The cream containing the sinach powder and the dough containing the pumpkin powder are processed in a core wrapping machine to provide a product, which is then baked to produce a green yellow vegetable cookie. |
