PURPOSE:To obtain a compact supporting structure by supporting an intercooler arranged in the upper part of a cylinder head by air supplying inertia pipe arranged from the intercooler towards the cylinder head and an exhaust stay. CONSTITUTION:A cylinder head H is mounted on a cylinder block A, and an intercooler C is arranged over a bonnette B and an injection valve 10 over the cylinder head H. The intercooler C is supported by air supplying inertia pipe 1 and an exhaust side stay 2. Vibration is prevented by supporting the reverse side to the air supplying inertia pipe 1 by an exhaust side stay 2. Further, one air supplying inlet is provided in the intercooler C, and as many air outlets as cylinders are opened, and the necessity of an air feeding manifold can be reduced. Further, the temperature deflection of the supplied air is eliminated by arranging an air heater in the intercooler C, and the generation of blue white smoke is suppressed. Accordingly, the compact and lightweight constitution can be obtained. |
