<p>PURPOSE:To prevent flooding of sludge during a pipe line extension work by confirming the passage of a plug in such a way that a cam is pushed out sidewise, when the plug pushed in the pipe line passes by, and accordingly, a reciprocating rod is projected from an opening in a cylinder. CONSTITUTION:A plug 14 pushed in a high pressure hose 2 is pushed and moved by liquid pressurized and filled into the hose from the rear side of the plug 14, and is then introduced through a pipe line 10. Then a cam 16 is pushed by the plug 14 so as to turn a pin 34 toward its center, and accordingly, a reciprocating rod 18 is projected from a lid 38 of a cylinder 22 due to the movement of the cam 16 so that the passage of the plug 14 is confirmed. When the plug 14 is moved into the final part 26 of the existing pipe line, the filling of the liquid from the high pressure hose 28 is interrupted, and then, a joint 30 is removed from the final part 26 of the existing pipe 26. Further, a new pipe line is connected, for extension, to the final part 26 of the existing pipe line. Accordingly, it is possible to facilitate the confirmation of the passage of the plug 14.</p> |
