<p>PURPOSE:To provide a method for treating pulp, capable of efficiently separating tacky materials especially dispersed finely in pulp. CONSTITUTION:Recycled pulp containing tacky materials is mixed with an inorganic flocculating agent having >=40ml/100g oil absorption to give a suspension having 2-8wt.% pulp concentration. The suspension is stirred at least >=1 hour, further diluted into a suspension having 1-2wt.% pulp concentration and screened and/or a suspension diluted to 0.5-1wt.% pulp concentration is cleaned to efficiently separate tacky materials dispersed finely, in pulp.</p> |
