PURPOSE: To obtain the subject treatment agent for papermaking fabrics having permanent resistance to the adhesion of contaminants, by preparing the treatment agent consisting mainly of polytetrafluoroethylene, a urethane copolymer and polyacrylamide in the form of a solution. CONSTITUTION: This anti-contaminant treatment agent for papermaking fabrics comprises (A) 20 to 30 pts.wt. of polytetrafluoroethylene, (B) 20 to 30 pts.wt. of a urethane copolymer, (C) 10 to 15 pts.wt. of polyacrylamide, (D) 2 to 4 pts.wt. of an acrylic copolymer, (E) 0.5 to 1.5 pts.wt. of methylene bisacrylamide, (F) 0.5 to 1.5 pts.wt. of polyaziridine crosslinker, (G) 0.5 to 1.5 pts.wt. of methyl pyrrolidone, (H) 0.5 to 1.0 pt.wt. of an ammonium persulfate 10% solution, (I) 0.5 to 1.0 pt.wt. of a sodium metabisulfite 10% solution, (J) 0.5 to 1.0 pt.wt. of a urea peroxide 0.1% solution, and (K) 0.0005 to 0.001 pt.wt. of a silver nitrate 0.1% solution. The anti-contaminant treatment agent can reduce or eliminate the adhesion of fabric contaminants in a process for making paper. |
