PURPOSE: To enable to perform effectively the hemostasis of an opening of tissue, by making it possible to form a row of staples so that the row may extend by passing through the tissue and absorbable gauze materials, and enabling by the gauze materials to distribute the pressure uniformly along the row of staples. CONSTITUTION: The staple device 10 consists of an upper jaw 20, injection tool 30, lower jaw 40 and a staple-cartridge 50 accommodated in the lower jaw 40. The injection tool 30 is activated by operating an injection knob 42, and by operating an injection wedge 32 through the cartridge 50, the staples in the front of the cartridge 50 are injected. In this case, strips 52 of a gauze material are arranged releaseable by cutting from the cartridge 50 so that the strips may remain on the back of the staples together with them after the removal of the staple device from the staple position. This fixation of the strips 52 is carried out by such method as supersonic welding or adhesive bonding with a great number of intervals. |
