PURPOSE: To simplify a structure and to reduce a manufacturing cost by movably fitting a guide rail to a door panel for downward, vertically, driving by a cable when a force opposing travel of a glass which is, exceeding a pre-determined value, applied to the glass is detected. CONSTITUTION: A spring 16 holds a guide rail 6 at an upper side position as long as a force which acts on a glass and is transferred to the guide rail 6 by a transportation stage 8 and a cable 3 is kept smaller than a pre-determined value. The pre-determined value corresponds to a force applied, in advance, to the spring 16 whose lower end part hits a fixed point 17 (for example, a door panel). When the force applied to the glass exceeds the force pre-applied to the spring 16 because of intervention of an obstacle to an upper side path, the guide rail 6 is moved downward which is opposite to the restoring force of the spring 16. As a result, a tab 15 departs from a switch 14 and the rotational direction of a motor of a motor damping device 2 is reversed. |
