PURPOSE:To provide the subject cloth easy to handle, free from incompatible feeling, also giving excellent disinfectant and antiinflammatory activity, even if made up from natural material. CONSTITUTION:A cloth such as woven fabric, nonwoven fabric or knitted fabric composed of natural fibers like cotton or silk is brought into contact with a reaction liquor containing tannic acid to allow the cloth to react with the tannic acid; the resultant cloth is brought into contact with a reaction liquor containing potassium antimonyl tartrate to allow the cloth to react with the potassium antimonyl tartrate. Furthermore, the resulting cloth is brought into contact with a metallic ion-contg. catalyst solution to allow the cloth to react with the catalyst followed by contact of the cloth with a reaction liquor containing herb extracts to effect reaction of the cloth with the active ingredients in the herb solution to impart the cloth with medicinal effects, thus obtaining the objective disinfectant cloth for external use. |
