<p>PURPOSE:To maintain high regenerating performance of a filter, and prevent mechanical breaking caused by heat of the filter so as to guarantee durability by controlling the filter temperature to a temperature range which is decided in advance before particulates are heated, burned, and eliminated, in a filter regenerating device for collecting the particulates in exhaust gas of a diesel engine. CONSTITUTION:A filter regenerating device is provided with a filter 19 provided on the way of the exhaust pipe 16 of an engine 17, for collecting particulates included in exhaust gas, a micro wave generating means (treating means, heating means) 20 for heating the particulates, an auxiliary burning means (treating means) 24 for promoting combustion of the heated particulates, exhaust pipes 25, 26, and a temperature detecting means 30 provided in the exhaust pipes 25, 26. The auxiliary burning means 24 is operated before the micro wave generating means 20 is operated, and the filter 19 is cooled to a prescribed temperature. After that, the micro wave generating means 20 is operated, and the subsequent filter regenerating process is carried out.</p> |
