<p>PURPOSE: To secure quick opening and closing and improve compression by forming a discharge valve for a compressor for an air conditioner with a strip- shaped plate bent into a polygonal shape so as to be provided with a shutter member for shuttering a discharge hole, a cushion member and a support succesively. CONSTITUTION: A compression member 20 received in a sealed casing together with an electric motor comprises a cylinder 21, a valve plate 30 covering the top of the cylinder, and a head 40 covering the valve plate 30. A discharge hole 32 and a suction hole 31 positioned in a discharge chamber 41 and a suction chamber of the head 40 respectively are formed in the valve plate 30, and opened and closed respectively by a discharge valve 340 and a suction valve 33. The discharge valve 340 has an overlapped portion formed by the two mutually overlapped ends of a plate, which is riveted by a protrusion 40A arranged on an internal wall of the head 40, and a staged shutter member 340E via a cushion member 340B. The shutter member 340E has a contact surface 340D with a shutter surface 340C for enhancing the sealing performance of the discharge hole 32 arranged in the center thereof.</p> |
