ADJUSTABLE CONNECTION LINK BETWEEN CRANK LEVER OF HEALD FRAME CONTROLLING ROD AND DOBBY IN LOOM

摘要

PURPOSE: To decrease the weight of an adjustable connection link between the dobby and the first crank lever of the control rods of each loom heddle frame for a loom. CONSTITUTION: A connection link 3 consists of two tubular bars 6 and 7 of hollow aluminum alloy section pieces, having at least one of internal ribs 8 and 8' perpendicular to the major sides of the rectangle, both section pieces are cut away along opposing sides at their adjacent ends in order to expose the corresponding parts 11 and 12 of their internal ribs 8 and 8' and are kept pressed, one against the other, in an adjustable position by at least one bolt 14 threaded into one end of the section piece and passes through a slotted hole 17 in the corresponding end of the other section piece.
