PURPOSE:To obtain a shirasu balloon board which is light and excellent in bending, tensile strength and abrasion-resistance as a building material and which is especially appropriate for interior members. CONSTITUTION:A metallic film 8 is formed on the surface of a molded body composed of shirasu balloon, shirasu, cement, additive, and fiber reinforcing material as a shirasu balloon board 1. In the production of shirasu balloon board 1, shirasu balloon, shirasu, cement, and additive and fiber reinforcing material are mixed and kneaded for their combination. This raw material is molded to form a board and cured to make a molded body. A metallic film 8 is formed by thermal-spraying on the surface of molded body. |
