PURPOSE: To withstand normal stress and prevent the outside dimensions of an apparatus from increasing, by forming an accommodating plate intersecting with the arc-shaped path of the grasping mechanism of a transport unit, a control means for the grasping mechanism of the transport unit, and a driving means synchronized with the rotation of the transport unit and the accommodating plate. CONSTITUTION: The axis 11 of a driving wheel 10 is displaced from the axis 6 of a housing plate 1 so that the circular path followed by a receiving means fitted on the housing plate may intersect with the arc-shaped path followed by the axis of the grasping mechanism supported by a conveyor unit at an angleαof preferably 3 deg. at a steady point A. The rotation driving of the wheel 10 and that of the plate 1 are synchronized so that the recesses 5 in the grasping mechanism 4 and an accommodating plate may appear vertically in synchronization with each other at the point A. A cam controls the lowering of a chuck which is lifted again in advance at the diagonally frontward position and its fitting to the neck part of the container positioned below just at the position.
