PURPOSE: To well enable filling and release by constituting the wall of a mold of a mold material containing polyphenylene ether comprising a unit represented by a specific general formula and passivating the surface of the mold. CONSTITUTION: A mold is formed in order to produce a latex foam molding material by using microwave heat. The wall of this mold is formed from a mold material containing 20-100 pts.wt. of polyphenylene ether comprising a unit substantially represented by formula (wherein R1 and R2 are an n-alkyl group having up to six C-atoms or R1 is a hydrogen atom and R2 is a tertiary alkyl group having up to six C-atoms and R3 and R4 are mutually independently a methyl group or a hydrogen atom), up to 80 pts.wt. of a styrol polymer, up to 30 pts.wt. of an impact resistance modifying additive, up to 40 pts.wt. of a reinforcing agent and/or a filler and up to 15 pts.wt. of an additive. In this case, the surface of the mold is passivated. If the mold is used, a work cycle time is shortened by rapid filling. |
