WASTE GAS TREATMENT DEVICE

PURPOSE:To increase a dioxin elimination rate of an exhaust gas treatment device and enable denitration with added ammonium and make compact the size of the device by installing an activated carbon filter along a filter cloth of a bag filter to a discharge side of exhaust gas of the bag filter. CONSTITUTION:A cylinder-shaped filter cloth 1 is suspended in an exhaust gas treatment device where gas flows into the device in the direction of A from above. Outside the filter cloth 1, there is installed an activated carbon filter 2 in such a fashion that it may be enveloped. The activated carbon filter 2 is desiged to fill up particle-sized activated carbon between support members. It is also acceptable in terms of structure that activated carbon fiber be pasted on a bag filter in place of the activated carbon filter or activated carbon fiber be clamped between the bag filter cloth. This construction makes it possible to eliminate dioxin with high efficiency and remove nitrate or nitrogen by adding ammonium to the upper stream of the bag filter.
