PURPOSE:To obtain a method for producing a vinyl chloride sheetlike material in which the formation of the sheet can be carried out even in the case of a vinyl chloride paste resin and the resultant sheet itself has touch, texture and moisture conditioning properties resembling to those of leather products. CONSTITUTION:Cellulosic powder, obtained by subjecting screened pulp to acid hydrolysis or mechanical treatment and having >=0.1mm fiber length and about >=2mum thickness, a vinyl chloride paste resin and a plasticizer are prepared in amounts of nearly the same pts.wt. and a stabilizer is then added thereto. The resultant mixture is kneaded with a heated roll, then calendered and rolled into a sheetlike form. |
