PURPOSE:To contrive cost reduction simplification of the air conditioner by controlling an outdoor unit for the air conditioner by a single microcomputer. CONSTITUTION:An input commercial power source is set to a predetermined constant DC voltage by a power source 20. The constant DC voltage is used as a power source voltage for a switching circuit 23 for a compressor and a switching circuit 24 for a blower. Switching elements of the circuits 23, 24 are turned ON, OFF at a predetermined timing by a microcomputer 32, and an ON signal of the elements of at least one of upper and lower arms of the circuit 24 is chopped by a predetermined frequency. An ON duty ratio by the chopping is variably controlled, DC brushless motors 21, 22 of the compressor and the blower are controlled, and an outdoor unit can be controlled by the microcomputer 32. |
