PURPOSE:To effectively utilize heat from a heater by heating air on the outer circumference of the heater before air assisting. CONSTITUTION:Injected fuel flow from a fuel injection valve 34 is air-assisted in an air assist adapter 42 by assist air from an air control valve 36, and injected from a nozzle 44 as a mixture. A heater 70 is provided in the nozzle 44, and the mixture passing through a mixture injection nozzle 66 formed in the nozzle 44 at low temperature state of an internal combustion engine is heated so as to promote atomization of fuel. A heat exchange chamber 72 is formed around the outer circumference of the heater 70, and air from the air control valve 36 is introduced to the air assist adapter 42 through the heat exchange chamber 72. Air is heated by heat from the outer circumference side of the heater 70 in the heat exchange chamber 72, and the air supplied to the assist air adapter 42 is preheated. |
