PURPOSE:To provide a feed for the culture of fish such as red sea bream and young yellowtail, containing a specific porous calcium silicate as a main component and effective in promoting the growth of fish, improving the meat quality and increasing the productivity of the fish culture. CONSTITUTION:The objective feed is produced by using a porous calcium silicate having a solubilizing ratio of >=50 and a porosity of 65-75% (composed mainly of tobermorite or xonotlite) as a main component and adding calcium phosphate, etc., to the main component. The feed is used by adding to a livebait or other feed in an amount of 0.5-3.0wt.% (preferably 1.0-2.0wt.%). |
