<p>PURPOSE:To increase the amt. of ink stored, prevent the dropping down of ink. and improve the aging stability, threading property, and stickiness of the ink by compounding a dye, a humectant, a spescific thixotropic agent, and water. CONSTITUTION:The water-base ink having a metal ion concn. of 0.45% or lower is prepd. by compounding water, 3-10wt.% dye, 10-40wt.% at least one humectant selected from the group consisting of di -and trihydric alcohols and their derivs., 0.6-1.0wt.% thixotropic agent comprising a crosslinkable polyacrylic acid having a mol.wt. of 600,000-2,000,000, and, if necessary, 0.3-0.5wt.% dropping- down preventive, 0.2-2.0wt.% anticorrosive wetting agent, 0.5-5.0wt.% waterproofing agent, 1.0-6.0wt.% PH regulator, and 1.0-2.0wt.% antifungal agent.</p> |
