PURPOSE:To provide a recorder which can record effectively in a short time for use wherein many copies are recorded from a manuscript of many sheets. CONSTITUTION:A recorder is constructed so that a length of a recording material 1 is made to be the length capable of coping with plurality of sheets of a manuscript in the recorder wherein the recording material 1 having a surface of which a receding contact angle is decreased when the recording material 1 is brought into contact with a liquid under a heating state, is provided; the recording material 1 is selectively heated under a state wherein a contact material 6 consisting of a liquid or steam, or solid becoming a liquid by heating comes in contact with a surface of the recording material 1; a latent image is formed at a heating part by a method wherein the receding contact angle corresponding to heating temperature is formed; a visible image is formed by bringing a recording agent 8 containing a developer into contact with the latent image to be developed, and recording is carried out by transferring the visible image to recording paper P. |
