<p>PURPOSE:To obviate a trouble for unlocking/locking the rear body door of a truck and preclude certainly such inconvenience as undeliberate unlocking of the door. CONSTITUTION:A remote locking device for the rear body door of a truck is equipped with a portable unit 9 carried by an operator 8, an on-board unit 4 and a locking unit 3 both to be mounted on the truck concerned 1, wherein the portable unit 9 transmits unlock signals for the rear body door 2 at all times at specified intervals. The on-board unit 4 emits an unlocking actuation signal when the unlocking signals from the portable unit 9 are received at the specified intervals and emits a locking actuation signal when they are not received at the specified intervals, and thereby the portable unit 9 is approached or moved apart from the truck 1, and thus the locking unit 3 is actuated into the locking or unlocking motion.</p> |
