PURPOSE:To improve the convenience of an automatic answering function of a cordless telephone equipment by simultaneously performing in-recording state display and the sound monitoring of recorded contents by plural telephone sets in the cordless telephone equipment providing an automatic answering function with a connection device and consisting of plural telephone sets. CONSTITUTION:A monitoring part 14 of a calling channel holding means 6A outputs calling channel holding information 14c based upon inputted automatic answering function setting information 14d, holds a calling channel formed in a call incoming state, state, allows a frequency variable signal generator 16 to send a recording informing information 16a having respectively different frequency to plural telephone sets at a time interval set up by a timer circuit 15 to set up timing for allowing each telephone set to enter recording monitoring operation.
