PURPOSE:To provide a communication emulator device capable of easily evaluating an operation when communication abnormality such as the generation of a communication error or the collision of data on a communication line occurs. CONSTITUTION:An ECU 1 to be evaluated is connected to emulator boards 2-6 simulating an actual electronic controller via a communication bus 30. The device is operated by sending out a command from a host computer 10 via a communication line and setting operating environment for the ECU 1 and the emulator boards 2-6 in the communication abnormality. The host computer 10 monitors a communication state, and evaluates a communication operation. |
