PURPOSE:To provide an effective use of a recording medium by generating synchronization signals based on the word clocks which are generated every time the number of words becomes an integer multiple of a prescribed number. CONSTITUTION:By the instruction of a start recording, audio signals are converted to digital signals and are written into a waveform data memory 10a as audio data through a writing circuit 91. By the instruction of a recording completion, the circuit 91 writes each data corresponding to the sampling frequency during the A/D conversion, a recording duration and the number of recording sample words into a head memory 10b. The synchronization reproduction instruction reads the data stored in a PCM memory 10 in synchronization with MIDI clocks from an MIDI equipment and supplies them to the external. An audio data reading circuit 93 reads the audio data in synchronization with the MIDI clocks and the data are completely synchronized with the MIDI clock timing. Thus, synchronization signal generation and synchronized reproduction are performed without storing time codes and the recording medium of a digital audio equipment is effectively used. |
