The windscreen wiper is fitted to operate on the drive head (10), in rotation around the drive axis (E). The wiper arm is formed as a curved case (25) and is fitted to the drive head by the pivot axis (D), which passes through the drive head, at right angles to the drive axis (E). The wiper blade carrier (60) fits into the wiper arm case and has at the outer end (31) a fitting to carry the blade. The inner end (62) of the blade carrier extends to the interior of the wiper arm and is shaped in a curve to match the curve of the wiper arm case. The contact pressure spring (40) is attached to the end (62) of the blade carrier and to the wiper arm case (25). USE/ADVANTAGE - It presents a smoother and more aesthetic external appearance and gives direct attachment of the pressure spring to the blade carrier.
