The ski has a body and a tip (4) or heel which is made independently. The tip is made in a supple synthetic material which is moulded on to a reinforcing (7) that is an extension of the reinforcing of the body. The synthetic material is a thermoplastic or extruded polyurethane, a polyether or a polyamide. The reinforcing is a solid structure which has teeth (12) on which the material forming the tip can be fixed. The reinforcing can have a perforated structure, such as a fabric with loose links or perforated metal. USE - Ski with independently made tip or heel moulded to body.
