<p>PURPOSE: To facilitate reception of a picture recording by providing a remote transmission means between VCR and a cable box. CONSTITUTION: A microcomputer 110 of VCR 100 includes a remote data storing means of each cable box 300 which has a different remote signal according to manufacturing companies. The microcomputer 110 of VOR 110 is utilized by a remote controller 150 to control a drive of the box 300. An OSD function utilizing TV 200 screen is applied so that a control mode of the box 300 is displayed on OSD. A specific number of the box 300 is displayed on the OSD read from the box 300, and the remote control 150 drives the box 300 to set an operation code, driving the VCR 100 and the box 300 simultaneously at a reserved set time, selecting a channel for the box 300, and outputting RF signal de-scrambled by VCR 100. Thus, since the box 300 is easily controllable from the VCR 100, it becomes possible to facilitate receiving and recording.</p> |
