PURPOSE:To provide an alkali-developable photosensitive resin compsn. ensuring high resolution and excellent printing durability when used as a photosensitive resin compsn. for a planographic printing plate. CONSTITUTION:This alkali-developable photosensitive compsn. contains an alkali-swellable or -soluble resin binder and oil-soluble diazo resin and the resin binder has a substituent represented by the formula in each molecule and has 5-150 acid value. In the formula, R<1> is phenyl which may have a substituent, each of R<2> and R<3> is H or 1-4C alkyl, R<4> is alkylene which may have one or more among alkyl, hydroxyl and oxo (=O) as substituents on the principal chain or may contain an O atom and/or cycloalkylene in the principal chain and each of (a) and (b) is impendently 0 or 1. |
